When it first opened, PB Dye ‘s greens were diabolical. But they have been re-graded in recent years and the course is much more playable than it used to be. Excellent practice areas/range for warm up. Definitely worth trying out if you haven’t played it yet. But again, choose the right tees don’t be silly..

This course is sure to test your skills and your nerves. Super fast greens. Scenic views. Great practice facilities. GREAT food.


PB Dye GC is a beautiful golf course designed by the son of the great Pete Dye , PB Dye . The design and routing are very good in general with a lot of touches that Pete Dye would have in his designs but you will find more blind tee shots than you would normally expect which means to truly appreciate you might need to play a few times.

The PB Dye course in Ijamsville, Maryland has the reputation for being a tough and tricked up—perhaps unnecessarily so— course . At one point, Golf Digest had it pegged as the 26th toughest course in America.

10/8/2009  · PB Dye Golf Club , which opened in Ijamsville, Maryland in 1999, is currently the 11th ranked course in the state according to Golf Digest. PB is the son of legendary course designer Pete Dye and this is touted as his only signature course . Greens fees run $79 during the week and $99 on the weekends.
