and the weapon can only drop on Mayhem 6 or above. So just set the difficulty level to six or higher and keep killing the Atlas HQ boss until you get your Sand Hawk. In order to speed up the process, you should equip your strongest single target weapon that does shock damage and just focus on Katagawa Junior.
5/9/2020 · We got a total of 3. Over a hundred kills. Pre patch tho but the patch does not fix dedicated drops so its the same since mayhem 2.0 release. 5/20/2020 · I started farming Katagawa for the sand hawk on 5/15/ 20 and so far Ive accumulated over 200 runs in (13 hrs) and not 1 sandhawk has dropped for me. (Its 5/19/20 today…5 hours in) Its sooo annoying. Ive been playing Borderlands since the 1st game came out and Ive never spent this much time farming a weapon without it dropping at least once.
